SCAD Dive systems

The worlds only REAL free fall ride

SCAD Diving is a unique thrill ride. It is the only system in the world, that allows unattached, controlled free fall. The customer gets to the release level at the top of a SCAD tower by using a special elevator or the stairs. Mobile operations use telescopic towers or cranes. The operator connects the SCAD diver to a release system with a special CFF free fall seat and pulls a trigger after a countdown.

The long free fall is completely without attachments. The customer will drop into the suspended catch air device (SCAD). The airtubes and brake suspensions around the double SCAD net stop the fall so softly, that the rider feels no impact at all. The free fall experience is therefore very intense. After landing the entire SCAD device will be lowered a short distance to the ground, so the rider can exit by himself and enjoy the incredible feeling of personal achievement, that will surely last a lifetime.

OPERATION

  • Harnessing at ground level with CFF (controlled free fall) harness
  • Lift to typ by elevator / platform
  • Connect and release by top operator
  • Descend of SCAD net to ground
  • Self exit of rider from SCAD net

FEELING

The free fall feeling is more intense, than any other simulation or free fall drop ride, due to the omission of distracting attachments. The feeling is like landing in a cloud without any impact. As the rider is seated comfortably the ride is even smoother than known rides.

SAFTEY

All riders connect to the CFF Controlled Free Fall system. CFF guarantees a secure free fall position for a comfortable landing.

The customer is limited in his movements and can not change his position, even at deliberate attempt

The CFF System is a perfect way to enjoy the pure free fall feeling..Due to the CFF System SCAD is completely safe for untrained persons. There are no special requirements for participation. The g-force ranges between 2,5 and 4. SCAD Diving is a TÜV-approved ride and complies with all CE norms. Since ´97 more than 10 million customers have performed a safe CFF SCAD Dive.

MONTIC SCAD systems are built according to German safety standards and have been tested and approved by the TÜV Germany. They also comply with US ASTM standards.

It has also been inspected by the HSE-UK, DTI-Denmark, TÜV-Austria, SA-Sweden, Lift Institute - Netherlands etc. and operates in 18 countries around the world including the USA and Japan.

MEGA SPLASH

By installing a shallow pool underneath the net, any SCAD system can be converted into a wet ride.
After the net has soaked up water in the pool and has been lifted back into position, 30 ft off the ground, it produces a mega size splash upon landing, which is thrilling and refreshing at the same time.
